About Me

Hi, I’m Korrinna , a registered dietitian, mom of three, and someone who understands how exhausting it can feel to be stuck in the cycle of food stress, body image struggles, or trying to “do it all” without support.

My journey into nutrition was shaped by my own experiences with postpartum depletion, unrealistic expectations, and the constant pressure to fix my body. Over time, I realized that true health is not about following rigid food rules or chasing a number on the scale. It is about learning to nourish deeply, live with intention, and trust your body again.

That realization is what inspired Nourish and Renew Nutrition Therapy — a space where women and athletes can heal, fuel, and thrive without shame, obsession, or quick fixes.

I believe in creating a warm, safe space where you can let go of perfection, reconnect with your body, and build a sustainable relationship with food that actually works for your real life.

My Credentials & Professional Background

I was born and raised in Whatcom County and have always felt deeply connected to this community. I earned my degree in Nutrition with a specialization in Dietetics from Central Washington University and completed my dietetic internship with a focus in business.

After becoming a registered dietitian, I worked in a virtual practice for 3.5 years where I primarily supported women with disordered eating, as well as athletes looking to improve performance and energy through sustainable nutrition.

To deepen my expertise, I completed advanced training through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy and am currently working toward the IEDS Certification, Inclusive Eating Disorder Specialist. I am passionate about staying up to date with best practices in eating disorder care, body image support, and performance nutrition.

My work is rooted in evidence based, trauma informed, and weight inclusive care. I also offer a faith based lens for clients who desire spiritual support, integrating biblical encouragement and Christ centered compassion into our work together.

I believe health is not just about what you eat, it’s about how you live, think, and feel in your body. True well-being comes from restoring balance, rebuilding trust, and creating habits that support your mind, body, and spirit. It’s about learning to listen to your body’s cues, honoring your unique story, and gently unlearning the noise of diet culture, comparison, and shame. I believe healing happens when we approach ourselves with compassion, curiosity, and courage, when we make space for nourishment, movement, rest, and joy. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your body’s wisdom, redefine what health means to you, and cultivate a life that feels aligned, empowered, and free.

MY Philosophy

My Approach to Recovery & Healing

You don’t need another plan that makes you feel like you’re failing. You need support that helps you feel strong, nourished, and at peace with food.

Here’s what working together might look like:

  • Bringing structure back to your day, especially when hunger cues feel messy or unreliable

  • Making sure your body is getting enough (yes, actually enough) to support energy, focus, hormones, and recovery

  • Rebuilding food freedom, with less fear and more flexibility

  • Fueling your workouts or runs with intention, not obsession

  • Exploring your relationship with food and body image in a safe, shame-free space

  • Taking small, doable steps to feel strong, energized, and empowered again

I don’t focus on the number on the scale. I focus on how your body feels and functions.
